Default New switch, signal Still don’t kick off

1982 4wd 360 4spd manual ram.
UPDATED***
everything works but my brake lights, and my signals don’t turn off when returning the wheel to home.
They brink fine on all 4 corners, put a new switch in, I can hear it click like its trying to kick off the switch, but still won’t do it. What else could be wrong?
Is there parts missing? (Aftermarket wheel from PO)
!!! EDITED IN THE SOLUTION!!!
FIGURED IT OUT!! the aftermarket grant steering wheel didn’t have an arm to trip the signals on the install kit. The new kit I bought had one. Weird problem, I know. $30 on eBay. Problem solved.

Replace the signal switch, one or both of the plastic arms are worn or broken.

Look at the 5 and 11 o'clock positions on the image below

Cool I figured that would be the problem! I was worried they wouldn’t sell the lockout gear with it.
I got it apart but I have to wait till tomorrow to make a pullerto pull the steering wheel mount off.

hey so I just put in the signal switch, when i turn the wheel, I can here it clicking (trying to kick the blinker to the off position) but it still stays on. This has an aftermarket steering wheel, installed by a HAM. (Half-assed mechanic) so the Horn is broken (ordered a new one for the grant steering wheel) but what else could be wrong??

i didn’t damage anything putting it back together but now I’m wondering if there’s a missing part or something.

You are going to have to dig into the column, and see what broke.
