Default Rear Transfer Case Seal Leak

I can't shake a rear output shaft seal. I have less than 2000 miles on rebuilt trans, rebuilt syncro NP208 transfer case, rebuilt rear, rebuilt drive shaft slip yokes. I just took the drive shaft back with the transfer case yoke to the drive shaft shop. In examining the yoke it looks like the previous owner had the yoke turned. In order to not have a conversion to 1310 joints I opted for a new yoke 2 1/8". I had the shaft rebalanced with the new complete assembly. I don't have play in the case output shaft. I got about 100 miles on it and it's leaking again. Any suggestions?

Did you lubricate the seal before you installed the driveshaft?

I did the first one but I was told not to. The grease from the slip yoke spurted on the outside of the one I just put in. What should I use for this?

Grease, or trans fluid. I generally fill the 'lip' area with grease.
