Default 1989 Dodge Ram D100

I just got a 1989 Dodge Ram D100 with a 319 2wd. What kind of differential fluid do I use and engine/ trans oil do I use to. It’s going to be my daily. Also thinking of welding the diff.

if you don't know what transmission you have it is best to use atf+4. if you know the truck does not have overdrive you can use the dexron/mercron stuff which is a bit cheaper. shell 15w40 is all i usually put in my engines. it seems to keep them running strong and healthy even when i don't treat them the best.
