Dana 44 front hub assembly.
Now for us who owns w150 trucks. The dana 44 front axle hub is now discontinued. Meaning you can't find a new hub anywhere. I've looked. I know you may Posibly be able to find on in a salvage. But where I live first gen rams are not plentiful nor are 4x4's for that matter. Now my question for all you fine people I know the knuckles are very close on Chevy at least on the k20 models. But I'm wondering about Ford hubs. They are the same wheel bolt pattern. Can you retrofit the hub and spindle on a dodge dana 44 knuckle? I'm thinking the outer axle shafts will need changed as well since they may be longer on the dodge. Or Posibly just cut the splines down. If anything it can't be over an inch. I'm looking for someone who has done this. Has experience in this sort of application. Before I go buying a bunch of new ford parts I can't use. I really don't want to swap out the whole axle. If I have to do that then I'm going dana 60 or bigger.
1981 dodge w150. Previous owner hit something to bend the crap out of one side of the hub. I literally had to drill the locking hub apart to get it out. I've tried a rose bud to heat the damaged hub up to straiten it back out to get a new locker in it but to no avail. Tried looking for new hubs. None are being made. Can't find a used one and when I did the guy wanted 200 for just the hub.
