Default Best paint brand

Hi everyone, I want to paint my truck as original color, and I was wondering if anyone know which is the original brand for 1st gen truck? or on the other hand, which are the best automotive paint brand?

I believe they used PPG, PPG is a good brand but paint has made leaps and bounds better improvements since when your truck came out. "BEST" is broad statement because there have been so many changes in paint. Depends on what you are looking for and how it's going to be applied.

Some folks use Imron..... (airplane paint) It is highly chip resistant, but, a real pain to work with. You can't 'touch it up', you have to repaint the entire panel. Not exactly inexpensive either....

Kinda get get you pay for. But cleanliness is your friend. You can't have it too clean. Also depends on the prep work, how well it got sanded, cleaned. It's like a house. Without the proper foundation it won't last.
