So, change the fluid in the rear end. Probably long past time for that to happen anyway. Sometimes, the ratio is etched into the gears themselves, on the ring gear, or, the face of the pinion gear. Worst case, clean it out really well, mark it with a silver sharpie, and count the teeth on the ring and pinion gears, and do the math.
