I do live in the rust belt where it's freezing right now sadly, but Ive been managing it. This truck is still relatively clean for now with it being a Florida truck, but I'm not gonna be able to keep it very clean now having to drive it in the winter. Can't even use the hose so I can use my salt away because temperatures are so low don't have a long enough hose to run from the kitchen sink to outside 😂 I don't even want to take the time to undercoat it because it's to cold.
Probably wouldn't stick anyway, due to the temps.....
The drive-thru car washes here offer an underbody flush...... that helps, but, in sub-freezing temps..... Don't know if that's really a good idea or not.

Yea true and I'm not quite sure how good an underbody flush would be for this truck because the 12 valve has a breather hose that's directly facing the ground don't know how I'd feel about water trying to shoot up it. I suppose I could always clamp it shut, but wouldn't want to ruin the hose.
Is it an intake hose, or just a vent? I would like to think the engineers that designed a truck..... wouldn't be silly enough to have a hose pointing down, that could potentially suck up something untoward..... But hey, engineers do some truly puzzling things every now and again.

Ok, first gen. Crankcase venting isn't a closed system...... No PCV valve, or any of that??
I have run into a new problem though I posted about this a little while ago I think. My grid heater is attempting to cycle as I'm driving again even after I replaced the IAT sensor. So I've been having to disconnect it after it's done cycling in the morning.
