Default brake booster question

Can anyone tell me where I can get a power brake booster for my 1983 D350? Or if a booster from an 85 D350 will work? Thanks in advance

Gas or diesel? Vacuum or hyrdraboost?

HD gas vs Cummins doesn't matter. All vacuum dual--diaphragm. I know my 84 fit the boosters up to 93, but not sure about 83. (Pushrod difference trying a 78).

Try www.car-part.com?

I usually buy another parts truck when I need something beyond common jobber parts.

I'd you can deal with cut & paste of the pushrod end (weld), the older one should work too.
