Default Magnum swap

Hi all, I'm pretty new to Dodge trucks. I recently picked up an 84 d250 in really good shape cosmetically. The motor runs, but seems under powered. I have a friend with a magnum 318 out of a 92. How difficult is this swap? I'd like to keep the fuel injection for sure. Hooking into a rebuilt 727. For $300(for the magnum) I'd give it a shot

Should be doable. Need the engine, wiring harness, etc. Don't know if the 84 uses a crank sensor though.... (I suspect not...) so, have to address that as well. Check out the first gen ram section.
