Default Want to switch from electric to manual window crank

Hi everyone,
I have a 1985 ram d150. I love my truck, but it’s hard to drive it with the driver side window that will not roll down. Truck hasother issues, but right now, this is most important to me. As I live in a warm climate, and there’s no air-conditioning.
What I’d like to know is how hard would it be to change the electric windows and convert them to manual. is there a kid I can buy? the switch only operates the passenger side I’ve been looking for new switch for months and it seems something hard to come by. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the switch, or the window motor that is bad?? Might be able to pull apart the switch, clean the contacts, and have it actually start working again.... the window motor is still available over the counter.

I don't get this, Most want to put in power windows. You can try pushing the switch then smacking the door, If it starts to work it's the motor.

If you do go to manual windows and it requires different crank mechanisms, I don’t know if it does, I have a pair of them.

Swap the guts over from a manual door. I think you have to drill a few new holes.

Many highway trucks have a manual driver door and power passenger.
