Default Throttle body issue

Hi, I just picked up an 87 Ramcharger with a 318 fuel injected. I'm new to this I'm trying to find a part number and where to get a throttle body temp sensor . The one that is on there is broken.Can someone please help? Thanks

There is a temp sensor on the throttle body????? Got a pic?

are you sure it is TBI and not computerized carb? both may look very similar. 87 should be carbed unless someone swapped in a TBI setup. also i don't believe the TB temp sensor is really needed. i think it may be used as a reference for starting purposes but not needed for running purposes.

I'm new to this technology . I've always dealt with carbs. or diesel fuel injection. as far as i can tell it's TBI that's what the manual says. Whats the difference between TBI and computerized carb? The manual says that it is used for hot starting, that it adjust fuel mixture.

If it has a couple injectors sitting on top, that's TBI.

If it truly is tbi you mat be looking for it under the wrong name and will likely not show up for a 87 since tbi was 88-91/92
