Default Lift kit question

Hi, brand new here. I have a rough country lift kit with leaf springs all around for an 86 Ramcharger that I used to have. Not sure if it matters but it was never installed.

My question is: What would keep that lift kit from being installed on my 84 W150 Prospector? Thank you for your time.

Thank you for the response! Im scared that Im not responding correctly and don't want to tick anyone off with my naivete.

Rough country has different sku's for the RC and the Pickups, but ive never been able to find concrete proof that it wouldn't work. My W150 sits patiently awaiting my time and care, while the lift kit sits somewhere in the storage end of my shop. The W150 is my 1st vehicle, bought it twice in this lifetime. Through many moves across the country Ive toted them with me. Unfortunately I could not work out a situation in that I could keep my Ramcharger back in 2013.

Now I've just purchased an 85 W250 Prospector for my son who is almost old enough for his permit, and I have a feeling we are going to get back heavy into DodgeWork very soon. Got me pondering again about the lift kit lol.

You may want to look threw the q&a section about the lift kits in question. You may find someone asked the same question. If you don't find the answer you can always contact them directly and ask. It may fit but have different spring rates.

Could be as minimal difference as spring eye-bolt size, or with/without a pinion shim for the rear axle.

I hope it's something simple like that, if anything.
