Default Headlight Adjustment Tension Spring #3868789 Source or Alternative Remedy?

For my 1986 D150:

I'm looking for a replacement Headlight Adjustment Tension Spring Mopar #3868789 (#13 in diagram) or ideas for an alternative remedy (i.e. a specific headlight spring that can be modified to fit)? I have no luck searching eBay, Amazon, big chain auto parts stores, internet including images,... Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there was the one on eBay for $20 plus $19.xx plus tax. Time is money, but I'm going to spend a 1/2hr looking for my jar of springs I've collected over the years, determine that none of them are an easy mod, go to a hardware store, pick a spring and jury rig it before I spend $40 for that one!

Indeed. Couple fish hooks and a rubber band before spending that kind of money.

Hey you, is the web store "Mopar Parts Webstores" one you've had good experiences with?

$15.22 total plus tax for a hard to find part I can swallow.

No experience with them at all.... Reviews seem pretty good though.... for what that's worth.

Sorry, I missed your reply until today. Thanks. Yes I did look in one parts store. Fortunately I was able to track down my plastic jar of springs that I've hoarded over the years and lo and behold I found and old brake spring I think from a small car. It's not quite as stiff as the original, but I think it's working fine. I don't notice any shaking of the beam. I wonder if oncoming drivers notice anything?
