Oil leak 1988 dodge ram 50 2.6l 4wd

Default Oil leak 1988 dodge ram 50 2.6l 4wd

So i have oil leaking what looks to be out the exhaust manifold gasket and it does smoke out if tailpipe white but if you drive it it wont smoke until next start up. i think its bad piston rings (hopefully not). Any help is appreciated

The only oil that gets near the exhaust manifold would be from the valve cover gasket...
