Default 93 318 magnum, idler pulley spacer.

Any one know how far the idler pulley washer/sleeve/spacer is suppose to go into the pulley? I replaced the pulley last year haven’t drove the truck to much and notice the new pulley was wobbling. Replaced it again different parts store gave the same pulley. I notice the sleeve doesn’t go all the way through stops like 2/3 millimeter before the end of the pulley. If I grab the pulley I can wiggle it.

The bolt goes through the shoulder washer with the sleeve insert through the centre of the bearing. Doesn’t go all the way through the bearing so it sandwiches the bearing to bracket and the washer. I’ll grab a photo next time I pull the pulley off.

Edit - ahh miss read your comment. I’ll have to take a look tomorrow. Pretty sure it was just a standard bolt.

it has the washer attached. I went to the wreckers and pulled a few pulleys off. It looks like an exact match with the spacer for it too. Must have been two bad pulleys out of the box. I’m guessing the wiggle I was getting was the bearing self destructing.
