Default '88 Cab Leaks Around Doors

Looking for advice from those who have successfully experienced this. My 1988 D100 has been occasionally leaking water in from both doors. It's coming in from the top of the door & dripping down. Figured the old weatherstripping was too cracked & brittle so I replaced it with new from LMC Truck. Well, that dealt with some of it, but not all. Has anyone had to deal with this?

Thanks

Open the door, roll down the window, place your knees on door just below the window opening, grab the top of the door, and pull it toward you a bit. (how much force is required needs a bit of experimentation.) Bend the top of the door in a bit, then test again. (a hose will work. roll the window back up though. )

Here comes a dumb question...so you are saying to open the door, sit on edge of the bench seat, put my knees just below the window opening bottom, and grab top of door. Do I pull the top towards me while pushing out with knees? Or use ones to help brace my pull??

You went to bend the top of the door inward, so that it seals better. Your knees are the pivot point, and also to keep the door from closing on your fingers.
