Headers/full exhaust, decent air intake/cleaner (14x4" open element really woke my carb'd 360 up), lightweight/underdrive pullies, electric fan instead of the clutch fan, good ignition/coil/wires/cap/rotor/plugs, remove smog pumps if you've got them (or just pop the belt off, that's easier). There's a bunch of things you can do. Look into putting 1.6 or 1.7:1 rockers on instead of the stock 1.5:1 (but don't forget to check tolerances)
