Default 2.5 to 5.2 conversion

Hi I am looking to convert my 1995 dakota 2.5L to a 5.2L 318. I am looking to have the new motor carbureted not TBI. I was wonder other than the engine and trans and the obvious radiator what other mods would I need? Also, which trans would be a good matchup for this motor? would the rear already installed be able to handle the extra power? and most of all about how much could I expect to do this swap?? Thanks.

Try the dakota section?

Unless you've already got the 318, go with a 360. More power for similar cost and negligible fuel economy differences.

transmission - auto or manual?
driveshaft, u-joints, engine and tranny cross members, rear differential, etc...
