It's a BlackSXT with the 2.7 V6, leather interior, and if I'm not mistaken.. it actually has the 18 inch alloys from the r/t. I thought the 18 was standard on the SXT but when I saw 18 on the tire and checked the dodge website I was surprised to see that SXT standard is 17 inch. Guess it was swapped?? I'm not complaining.
Anyway, VERY nice car. It handles and drives very very nicely and it attracts a lot of attention. I'm going to tint the windows for the moment, once the warranty expires I'll do some work on the suspension.
BTW: I traded in a '04 Impala which was a piece of junk

 

Yep. It's the 18" Rims. I have them too on my SXT...which is also the 2.7 liter.

I think there's certain styles of SXT you can have...like the Sport comes with the Rims. Mine also came with the spoiler.

Those wheels should be part of the $550 Sport Appearance Group. Was this on your window sticker?

 

I actually didn't see that in the sticker.. but I may have missed it. Doesn't the sport appearance pack come with spoiler and blacked out headlights?

It does come with a spoiler and fog lights, so scrap that idea.

Maybe they ran out of 17s or had a production issue with them, so they put 18s on some SXTs to get them done? It happens.

In other words, you might have just gotten lucky. Car certainly looks much better with the 18s than the 17s IMHO.

If you still have the sticker, can you take a look and see where (if anywhere) the 18s are listed?

 

Barry, thanks for the compliments.. the gallery was made from Photoshop CS2. If you have it, (or maybe an earlier version), go to file>automate>web gallery. The one I used is "flash template 2" or something like that.

mkaresh, I'll see if I can find the sticker. I do remember reading somewhere that if the SXTis ordered withthe 2.7L V6, then it comes with the 18s. Can't seem to remember where I saw that so I'm not sure how reliable the info was.

 

I just took delivery of my Modern Blue R/T this afternoon.Ialso thought it would have the blacked out headlights - the literature says so and the pictures show it that way, but mine came through withthe chrome ones. I asked the salesman about it, but he had no explanation other than "It just came through that way". But it really doesn't matterto me - I think it looksjust fine. The car is terrific.
