Just a quick question before I perform the update... Does it matter that I have a VES equiped system? No NAV but I do have VES, wanting to make sure there is not a different image for that functionality...

should be ok, the VES talks to the mygig on the BUS so it will still know it is there!

 

That shouldn't be an issue..

If you have a RER then use the RER update, If you have a REN use the REN update.. That's really the only thing you have to be concerned about software update wise.

VES is available on all the radios but is disabled visually if the VES is not hooked up.. The MyGIG Lockpick illustrates thatwhen you plug it in.. Suddenlyyou have a VES button option if you didn't have it before..

 

yeah the lock pick is great, i have a few on the way to me now!

I got my microphone today for the nav voice commands and uconnect on the nav mygig

 

Received the updates in todays mail. Try to installtonight.

Software update 9.713 and Gracenote update 881.

I have said it before and will say it again......great customer service from these guys at Harman Becker.

No Problem. Glad I could be of some help to everyone who was having MYGIG problems.
As I told you, and for the benifit of others, I have been running this version on MY vehicle for the past 2 weeks and I have yet...(knock wood) had any problems.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that there are no bugs left in it... or we'll end up with a Version 10.00.....[:@]
