Futil:
First of all, thanks so much for all your help with the MyGig system.
I have a 2008 Dodge Avenger that I have owned since Oct. 2007. It has the lasted updates that are posted on your website and was last updated several months ago. The other day I was driving down the road listening to the satellite radio and the satellite radio just quit working.
It gives me the message about contacting Sirius Radio to subscribe and I have contacted them a few times and had them reshoot a signal but it just won't pick it up. Everything else (i.e. AM-FM radio, HDD, CD/DVD player) works. Please Please Please tell me that you have some suggestions for me besides taking a day off work and taking it into a dealership. Someone suggested that I might reboot it but I don't have any clue how to do this.
I also was wondering if you can tell me how I can backup what I have loaded on my HDD to a flash drive so that if it ever gets cleared again (I had an accident in December and the HDD was cleared because of the damages) I don't have to load it back up 1 CD at a time.
Thank you again for all of your help!!

I tried installing the 2.043 update the other day. Already updated the firmware twice in 2 years and everything went smoothly. Anyway, I sat in the car while it was updating, towards the end it read "failure" and went into "emergency update" which would stay a 0% for 15 seconds or so, then i'd get a static image on the screen for a second and then back to the emergency update. I left it alone for about 20 mins and then shut the car off. the radio never turned off, just would go back and forth to the e.u. and then the static image. Next I took out the 20 amp fuse for an hour or so. When I put it back in, went right to the emergency update. Next I took out the IOD fuse, waited a couple of hours, replaced it, no success. I tried the button combo to remove the disc (seek + & - and Nav) and still nothing. I figured i'd try to manually remove the disc hoping I could try and reinstall the firmware which would be the last step before I took it back to the dealer. Took the radio out, took it apart, Pried up on the disc to get it off the hub and removed it w/ tweezers. Reinstalled the radio, went right to the emergency update screen again, but COULD not get the new 2.043 disc in because the radio thinks the old disc is still in there! I am screwed and the radio is bricked right?
