Default Hard Drive Failure

Today while my GF was driving home from work, she went to play a song from the hard drive and it was completly unresponsive. It says the Hard Drive is 0gb almost like it's not even there. Is this a known issue? will a software update fix this? if a software update will fix it where can I get an official upgrade?

Welcome to the forum. I have not had and experiences with the MyGig so I am not much help. I wonder if unhooking the battery for about 1/2 hour will reset the radio and maybe it will find the hard drive again. Worth a shot I guess.

we called the dealership last night, they said they will try a software update and if that doesn't work they will try a new hard drive and if that doesn't work they will replace the head unit aswell, the best part is it all still under warrenty and it's not one of the ones that says dealer discretion.
