removing front seats

Has anyone removed their fronts seats for any reason? I am wanting to install some headrest monitors, and will need to remove the seats for easier installation. I do not want to set the side airbags off, any advice?

I would say unhook the battery for at least an hour before removing the seats and you should be fine if you still haven't done this by now.

I have only unbolted them, I did not disconnect any plugs. Can't help you there. I slid some clear plastic rug protector under the mounts...
