I have a 2008 dodge avenger. The radio has quit working. It still has power and static is reaching the speakers or sometimes a very high pitched tone comes out. But 90% of the time there is no music! Is this the radio itself going bad or something different???

 

Sorry to hear that the radio is not working properly. I would suggest to have a dealer check if there is a problem with the radio itself.

 

Most likely the problem is with the radio.
