Another update. I bought a code reader and I'm getting a TIPM code P1270 - starter control circuit 2 open, and a WCM code B1A25 - Invalid Key., and PCM code P0513 Engine Control Module - Invalid SKIM Key
I put a new battery in the fob (the reader has a fix assist and that was a suggestion provided for the codes) and it is still throwing the codes.
I'm having a guy come tomorrow to make sure the key didn't lose it's programming and will have the key re-programmed if needed (and a couple of spares cut and programmed)
Hoping that is all it is, if not, I'll dig a bit deeper

Let me clarify, initially I got the P0513 code, I tried just deleting it and after I did and reran the diagnostic, it came back with the other 2 and P0513 was gone.

 

Good job,start with key problem,how many keys do u have, FYI I had 2 working keys and easily programmed extra key myself,easy and not expensive,

 

I have 1 key we’ve been using. I bought 2 more and they haven’t been cut or programmed. They are the 4 button keys
im hoping to have those cut and programmed tomorrow and the original key fixed in whatever capacity is necessary

I’m hoping it was just the key needed reprogramming…

 

If u have only 1 key,supposedly u need to have a special process to program key/keys,Google it for info

 

The guy that I have coming is a key specialist and and has the necessary program I believe to get the key back where it needs to be and get the new ones ready to go

im just hoping that’s the fix it needs.. if not its another possibility eliminated

 

Just to double check,,check owner manual on security system operation jic just in case,,,PLEASE DON T TOUCH ANYTHING til u get key checked,,GOOD LUCK

 

Update. New programmed key was the ticket.
Old key had not lost programming but wasn’t doing it.. 2 new keys cut and programmed and that did the trick
