I used to have a fender like that!

Installed electric brake controller and plug on rear. Used convolute tubing from front to back to prevent damage on the wire over time. Should be able to tow car trailer with either truck now!

I'm gonna pick my truck up from the engine shop tomorrow some time. Took it in this morning to have the plenum replaced.

Got new AC condenser delivered today, so I was able to install it. Did not get vacuum pulled on system as one of the disconnects jerked me around for over an hour, but finally got it. NOw to straighten the grill support bracket (it is pushed up about 1/2" from when some idiot jammed up the condenser......grrrrr.

I was wonderin'.
I wish I could have done it myself and saved a lot of money tho. I don't know how much it's gonna cost. I shall find out later.

$562

Runs totally different. They had to replace the radiator hose, it was rotted and split when he took it off. Bypass hose was also replaced. Got all my old stuff too, plenum gasket was bulged, and broken totally, but I think that is because he might have had a hard time getting it off. lol

Today...

Plugs, wires, VC gaskets (got bored and painted the VC's as well).
Actually cleaned the engine bay (was covered in old PS fluid from a high pressure line blow-out).
Tested/Inspected both O2 sensors (both carbon fouled).
Found out where that damned noise was coming from. Leaf Spring bushings are GONE...!

This weekend will be a different story.
