Default Floor Mats - WeatherTech?

Does anyone have any recommendations on floor mats? Does anyone have the WeatherTech mats?

I'm on my 2nd set of crap floor mats and have resorted to lining my carpet with that clear plastic wrap-like sticky floor covering you can get at Home Depot. The other mat's I've tried were the trim-to-fit kind, but I haven't found any yet that protect the carpet where the driver's side foot block is (where you'd rest your left foot near the firewall.) Also the mat's I've tried - which were the "all weather" kind - all allowed water from snow, etc to drain into the carpet under the gas pedal. That was fun to clean up.

If you have a great set of mats that protect your interior, I'd like to know. A pic would be great too. Just looking for the front. I have the Dodge cab liner for the rear seats.

I use my Dodge floor mats that came with the truck in the summer and swap out to a set of rubber mats in the winter. They're a fairly common mat sold at Advance Auto or Wal-Mart. They're alright, not exactly a perfect fit for a Dakota. I almost bought a set of Weather Tech mats this winter but just didn't have the extra cash to shell out $100 on floor mats. I wish they made the floor liners for the Dakota and not just the all-weather mats. My boss has the Weather Tech floor liners in his 08 STi and they work very well, good fit.

Hex-o-mat also makes floor mats that are made to fit the Dakota and seem like pretty good mats.

I have husky liners in my ram and LOVE them! Kinda expensive but worth it. Weathertech is pretty much the same thing.

I had the Weathertech Digitalfit mats, and sold them and bought the Husky Liners. The Husky mats covered further up the back wall than the Weathertech Mats did. The top of the left dead petal area was not covered with the Weathertech mats, so dirt/snow from my left foot would fall behind the mats onto the carpet. Husky all the way!

One good thing about both mats, both are made in the USA! smwave.gif

Nice, I've never seen the Husky mats before, they look pretty good. I'm all for something made in the US too.

www.carid.com has some really nice mats. Not cheap, but nice. They have the Husky, Weathertec and all of those. I just got a set of Lloyd's mats for my Dakota. They are carpet so probably not what you are looking for, but they have many different types.
They fit perfect and come with the little hooks to install to keep them from moving around.

The Husky mat's sound like what I'm looking for. Especially the left dead pedal area.

I'll check out the others though too. Thanks!

Based on experience, weathertech fits well and can hold more liquid and dirt.
