i put 6 quarts in my 93 5.2 with no problems at all. 5 quarts is too much for the 3.9[/align]

my 3.9 took 4 quarts and it was full up to the full line at the top of the "safe" zone after i ran it for about a minute so im leaving it at 4 quarts, but you do what you want

The owners manual says 4 quarts for the 3.9L....

my manual has oil capacities listed and it says "without filter" why would they list capacities without the filter included if you need to change the filter with the oil anyway???
