P0133 Engine code
I am getting this code. I'm not sure where the wiring goes from the O2 sensor.
Can someone please confirm for me that this is the O2 sensor pre-cat on the drivers side?

P0133 (M) 1/1 O2 Sensor Slow Response Oxygen sensor response slower than minimum required switching frequency.
More importantly, which O2 sensor is this referring to? I'm assuming that all of the O2 sensors on the truck are the same.
What is the big deal with splicing in an aftermarket one? ***Edit*** The OEM direct replacement O2 sensor from Advance Auto was $28

Also, I was unequivocally advised NOT to splice into the wires since they use such minute and precise voltage ranges.

It would appear that all of the O2 sensors are NOT the same. I'm going to stop by advance auto parts and see if they can narrow it down for me.
**Edit** It turns out that that the truck is very particular about which O2 sensor goes where. There are different part numbers for the different sides and even distinctions between pre cat and after cat sensors.

Okay so I was being lazy. I spent the effort and opened up my Haynes manual and confirmed that it is indeed the precat O2 sensor on the drivers side. I encourage people to get their haynes manual all of the time, but sometimes I need the same reminder.
I picked up the bosch O2 oem fit sensor for $28 from advance auto and I also picked up the special socket to remove them for $12. So $40 total. I'll work on switching it out today after work.

Replaced the O2 sensor today and had the code cleared. So far so good 
It was a major PITA trying to get that effer unplugged and then plug in the new one. No joke, over an hour to unplug and then little under an hour to get the new one plugged in. Absolutely necessary to unplug the evap hoses that are in the way of the plug.

Replaced the O2 sensor today and had the code cleared. So far so good
