if anyone can, around 01- 02 models with a 3.9 or a 5.9... its a rubber hose that leas from a canister from directly underneath the fuse box in the engine bay, and it leads over the left valve cover and goes straight down... anyone have an idea?

 

leak detection pump? charcoal can...?ya have a pic...?

 

might be the vaccumm hose for the cruise control.

 

for all yave said heck could be the diff vent,..

 

its definately of the evap system, i dont have a pic but its 3/4 of an inch thick, my buddy needs to know how long it is because his is rotted out, cause his dak is throwing a P0442 code

 

I had the same prob with mine about 2 weeks after i got it. Threw a cel light with the same code, major leak in the emission evap system. all i did was cut about an inch off the end of it (actually i had to cut an inch off another one too casue 2 hoses ran side by side) and it's been fine since.

 

yea i figured out what it was, it was one of the lines from the engine bay all the way down to the charcoal box by the fuel tank
