Has anyone ever heard of this?
Im not to sure what to think as much as I would love it to actually work, I think its a load of bull. Wouldn't acetone eat away at gas lines and other things?

from what ive been resarching on the internet its true, but on an episode of mythbusters, (53) they tested that myth, and it dropped the gas millage, but i cant remember how much they put in.
I tried it on my Nissan Fronteer. It did not increase the mileage but it did appear to make the engine run smoother. I ran it for about 5000 miles at a rate of 1 oz per 10 gals of gas. I would fill up and do the math and use a large syringe to add the acetone. I had no ill effects to my truck, but it was a pain in the a$$ to use. I have not tried it in my Dak .
