that sucks man..... you should probly part your truck out cheap... and Iget the cowl hood

but ya, I wouldnt tell your insurance company, just give the guy the bill when its outta the body shop. the less the insurance company knows, the better.

and for the bed stripe, get klingsdesings to do it.

and the tailights, his are legal. mine are illegal at night.

hopefully within the next moth or 2 I'll be getting tail lights, I gotta install my roll pan and buy new headlights first

well the neighbor already contacted his insurance. They said I should call them. My insurance won't know a thing since I wasn't at fault for anything. I just got an idea about the bed stripe. I know a friend who has sources to these things. So instead of getting the bed stripe as a vinyl...I'm gonna get an "inverse" stripe, and use it as a stick on stencil. Then get some body paint and paint over it, take off the vinyls and BAM...stickerless bed stripe.

Do you think the body shop will do that though if I give them the vinyl? Cuz I thought most body shops that are covered by insurance only do jobs to stock look, not anything on the side.

it depends on if you know anyone there... when I got in my acident I got my SS bumper and some other goodies installed while it was in there. they just hid those costs I dunno, I guess cause yours in only a one side inpact, they will probly only do the one box side, so they should do alteast the one side for free, because they will have to replace what ever you usd to have on there. I had some cheap LUND grill inserts before the accident, but after I had some SS grill inserts

you just have to play the game, if buddy is gonna put a claim into the insurance company, then soak them for as much as you can, but if he's gonna pay out of his pocket and you like the guy, then just replace what he broke

I guess I can just get some estimates from shops and discuss it with the neighbor.
