somone hit me about 4 days ago to.. i think they are out for us, our trucks are idiot magnets.

Im going to soak the guys insurance that hit me, with everything, he hit my front left panel, and messed up my flare, but im going to have them paint the rollpan, fix my tailagte, fix small dents, and repaint my entire front end. Those damn 18 wheeler rocks are starting to look bad.

so yea my parents already called the shop about the fenders. They are gonna charge med 380 bucks just to paint 2 fender flares black. They're telling me something about it being plastic, and it was made to be red.

 

that sounds like bull**** to me but im not in auto repair so idk i would not spend that much to have someone paint a couple of fender flares

yea im gonna strip it myself and take it to maaco. Depending on their price, I might just buy bushwacker flares.

 

i woudl beleive that the flares are that expensive to paint. One our flares are like unique rare items.. 250 each at JUNKYARDS!!! If you can find them, dealer is useally like 2 k for a set.. outragous.

to paint them, they are a plastic, so it would have to have a certian type of paint, if you ask me, they dont primer it.. i thinjk they just clearcoat it.. or somthing, im about to have 2 of mine painted.. ill let you guys know how much it costs.

 

Last week I had a guy in a rental car attempting to park next to my truck in a stupid hurry hit and dent in the back door on the drivers side does not look super bad.......went to get an estimate......over $2,400.00 kind of nuts but hey Hertz gets to pay the bill......2nd time in a year someone has hit me....and this time I was parked like you....sucks
