no the coppers are suppose to last longer but i believe dont give as good of quality of spark then other non stock plugs give,...providing there gapped correctly, not over tightened and i believe if u have a high current spark to them with low resistant wires it might burn them quicker...i dunno...its 5am maybe im not making sense...ha

coppers last to about 60k and then need to be replaced depending on your driving style and if you keep mant. on your truck, platnium and iridium are suppost to last longer...

I've had my current ones in for about 25k miles and they're fine. I'm about to convince the wife I need MSD ignition components. She wouldn't know the difference anyway and I'm at about 53k miles on the D now anyway. Routine maintenance can be a bitch or a good thing it all depends. [8D]
