The cat is already removed. I will leave the gear ratios in something I don't want to mess with but i know the acceration should be a bit bolder.

if im not mistaken, these v6's do need an adequate amount of back pressure to keep their low end torque, i still have my cat on and i still have a decent amount of power in the low range, torque gets you rolling... i do agree with the 3.55 gears, but would that be common on a 4x4 to have such a small gear ratio?

I've been meaning to do a 0-60 test. I'll let you know what I get. It really wont do you any good because of the different engine...I'll just be gloating lol jk

i think the 31's are killing you. i noticed a huge difference when i out mine on. i think about 0-30 is sluggish, and then it sorta kicks in a bit and you can feel the power switch (still in first gear) I'll see if i can do a test tomorrow cause it sounds like i have a pretty well identical truck to you.

dude you have a heavy 4x4 with a v6 and 31 inch tires, it's not going to be fast, removing the cat wont help you either, it causes a loss of low end in the 3.9. you might want to replace your o2 sensors with ngk o2's. that will make sure the computer is reading everything right giving you better air fuel ratios.
