Keep your eyes out for an 03' Durango they came with rear disc brakes and will fit your application just fine.

97-04 will fit. I would look for a 9.25 rear end. I think in 03 and 04 they came with disc brakes.

Those drums do suck! You would think they would have been all gone by the '90s. The conversion kits I have priced are about $800.00 so the bone yard would be cheaper. Hope I find one on Sat.

umm just to let you know idk if its just my dads truck, but both my truck, and my moms d have rear wheel drums and they have alot more stopping power than my dads truck w/ the 4 wheel discs, they seem to lack the stopping ability of the drums, at least w/ the drums you can stand the car on its nose if you need to, if i ever had to stop short w/ my dads truck i dont think it would work out to well

A good observation, Enzo Ferrari said it was simple math-the drum braks have a grater swept area- and rested using them for many years. But more so there is a reason Vipers, Vets, eaven all aircraft, and other such come with disk they do work btter, especialy when wet!
