good bye!!!!
Hey guys . . . i have some bad news for you, im going to be leaving the dak forum and moving, to the gen1 durango forum, short story, the full version is . . .
. . . My parents were talking about money and how when i go to college the less of it they have in savings, the less they will have to pay of my college, and decided that my mom wanted a new car, at first she liked the Murano, RX350(lexus), and BMW X5, so they start going to dealers, test driving cars, and she decides that she wants to get an X5, then they need to figure out what to do with her "old" car(an 02 durango SLT+ w/4.7L V8) they decide that my truck has too many miles on it to trust for me to drive, and offer me her truck, which of course i accept(would be dumb not to) and the dealer tells us that they wont take my truck on trade it, so now we're selling my truck and getting a new X5,(when it comes in) they ordered it this past weekend, so it should be in right around my 17th birthday so i can drive the durango for the entire time, but now that i no longer have a dakota i wont be spending as much time in this forum, but i will be sure to stop in for a while and see how you guys are doing, (no i didnt forget that they are almost the same vehicle underneath) and if you need anything, dont hesitate to ask me for it, and i will get some pics of the durango up as soon as i get it
bye

yea, my parents know that they would have to pay for all of the car, insurance, and gas if they bought me anything else, but now i have a 4x4 so i guess i have to take the bad w/ the good
no i cannot complain, and yes i do like it, ive been driving it occasionally on the weekends and whatnot when my parents dont want to drive, and i cannot wait for my moms x5 to come in so that i get the durango all to myself, and i know that it is the same underneath, just a different cover on the top

less miles yes, more reliable, idk this truck hasnt given me any problems yet, it always starts and always runs, and its fast . . . for a 6 but im glad to get the durango as it is alot nicer, has more options, and is free, only problem is now my sister will be getting a brand new car when she gets her license
o well im sorry to be leaving you guys ive enjoyed talking to you and will still try to stop in as it is virtually the same truck, but still have the dakota as of now, and i dont get the durango until the end july when my moms x5 comes in
