Door pillar vinal?
Anyone else have a problem with thier door pillar vinal cracking/spiderwebbing? Both sides of mine have done it and I want to get it fixed but am unsure of what the best way to do it is.

just swing by a couple of body shops and get some quotes. In the process of the quote, ask them what they think the problem is and what a solution would be. Then if it seems easy enough to do it yourself, do it.
ya it is vinyl. mines doing that too. I want to rip it off and replace it, but I dont know if it will come off in one piece or a million pieces.
rip yours off and tell me how it goes
and you can replace it with normal vinyl too.

comes off in 2304234098 peices.. its never easy, its like trying to take a sticker off that has about 2304924 cuts and slices in it.. its not fun.
I would get adesive remover, a heat gun and a razor blade, along with a towel.. and go to town.

Yea I took mine off and replaced it a year ago. It was hell taking it off. Leave it out on a hot day or something then peel it off. It helps a lot to have a razorblade to separate the vinyl. Note...you might have a gooey situation afterwards.
I wouldnt use tint. I would use vinyl. you can probly go to a sign place and get a scrap piece off them.
I wonder if you go over top of the piece thats already on there. I dunno if that would look right or not. I just dont wanna take mine off
I dont have the patience for that stuff.
