just take em out and measure em yourself. The size doesn't have to be stock size. I was able to fit a 6.5" when they said it's 5.25".

I was hoping not to have to tear it up to measure but i guess i will...
my front speakers were 6.75 (they're now 8" so stock won't matter much)
crutchfield says mine are either 4 or 5"

You are correct, the factory opening IS a 6.75, but there isn't too many aftermarket 6.75's out there, so a 6.5 is a good replacement. The basket is large enough to accomodate the opening. Plus any decent brand 6.5" speaker will actually be larger than say a cheap "Dual" brand speaker or something along that lines. Like Kicker's 6" speakers, actually fit a 6.5" opening, and their 6.5" speakers are actually a 6.75" opening.
