Just get a box built....Look into the new line of JL subs. Apparently they need less air space to work, then the box they come in

If you are building a box, make sure you decide which sub you are going to use first. Each sub has a different depth. 10" require less depth usually but again each brand will offer a different depth. Once you know the depth of the sub then you can create the dimensions of the box. Example would be bottom depth 8", height 12", top depth 2". Then you can determine if that box would have enough depth to allow clearance from, rule of thumb, depth of the sub plus 2".

I have an Apline 10" Type E, that sits great behind the pass seat, I would have gone with a 12" but it was free. As well, you can pick up some speckle coat paint to spray your box rather than covering it with carpet. I search for weeks looking for a box for a reg cab that would sit properly and still look good then buily my own which gives a way better finish and sound.

Search online for some sub encloser guides and free creators you can download to give you the dimenions you need.

kicker has a new series of subs out that are slim line and already come in the box...i put one in my buddys quadcab and it fit behind the back seat. they have ten and twelve inch sizes. crutchfield sells them. also i would suggest getting an alpine amp. the subs themselves are rated for 220 watts at 4 ohms of restistance and they will handle 400 watts at 2 ohms. trust me this set up is well worth the money.

Alright i went out with a tape measure and got the dementions. I guess i could have bought a box online (if i found one) but i kinda liked the idea it was made by me, and the boxes that i were looking at were kinda expensive and they didnt fit as well as I wanted it to...

I was going to go with a shallow mount sub but i wasnt sure how they sounded. i didnt know anybody that had one.

As far as mounting the amp, i dont recomend doing what i did because i had WAY to many beers by then and my dumb *** screwed the amp straight threw the back of the cab ;( .. i blame it on the bud light

HOPE THIS HELPS!
it was dark as hell out ill double check the measurements tomarrow.
