Happens onlyoncold start, lasts about 40 seconds, kinda sounds like: flip flip flap flap flick flick flack flack etc.

Oh, man. Sorry about that. I forgot that the device I use for recording uses a funky codec. I converted it to standard PCM and re-uploaded. It should work now.

It kind of sounds like the lifters. If it was a chevy, I would say it's caused by using cheap pistons.

sounds like the same tapping noise i have with my 3.9, check your evap leak system monitor, its right behind the left head light pinned between the the batter and the fender, put your hand on it and you should feel the solenoid inside. when i was diagnosing my tappying problem, i put my hand on the mointor and each tap went along with each surge of that solenoid, noisy little bastard

Oil still on the full mark, so if it is burning any, it's very very little. It was suggested to me that it could be a valve 'tappet' pumping up, similar to what a lifter would go through. Anyone know about that?
Would adding some Seafoam to the crankcase for a couple hundred free this stuff up, or make it worse?

Seafoam usually is used in applications where high carbon build up and gummed up passages, I am guessing you do regular oil changes so not sure Seafoam would help, obviously it wouldn't hurt.
