Quality/performance are always going to cost more. The edelbrock pulls more than the M1 throughout the entire powerband. It's not like they just added the injector bosses& brackets to it. They have a lot of research/development into this intake, to make it better than any intake offered for the 5.2/5.9. If you want the "Best", get the Hughes FI Airgap. But if you just want a little more out of your engine without giving up a kidney, get the M1!

for the price of the hughes i could buy harland sharpe 1.7 roller rockers and an M1 intake and i guarantee that makes more power than that hughes intake, more mods for the money

I agree. But I'm one of those people who try to buy the best part so later on I don't have to upgrade.(or want to) Why buy a super nintendo when you can get a xbox360?! Why buy 1.7 roller rockers when you can get a cam? You can buy a cam, lifters, and spring kit cheaper than that intake and it will add way more HP. My neighbor has a dakota r/t. I've always been jealous of it because it could smoke my durango. So I beefed my 5.2 with hughes cam, heads, etc. And my heavy *** durango could smoke his dakota. Now I have a 5.9 thats going to put him to shame. The only thing he has on me is the Hughes Edelbrock FI Airgap intake. I'm porting the hell out of my "Keg" intake so hopefully that will be enough. I should have a good 400+ hp N/A engine. I have a new turbo sitting next to me just in case. I'm supposed to sell it to someone on here but I don't know if I can wait for them to get the $!
