Default Valve Covers Installed (pics)

Got them installed here are some pics...

I have a new Billet 52mm Holley TB coming in in a few days, so that stocker TB is going to be gone!

The reason i got the valve covers, was for the 1.7 H/S rockers under them. The rockers where hitting the stock valve covers, so i had to get bigger ones, installed these and the ticking noise went away sounds alot better now, and looks good to.

Looks great... so I got a couple qeustions...so please excuse my newbieness when it comes to 2nd Gens...and I'm still learning alot about engines and termonology...

1.) That looks like an Open TB... where is the intake manifold & the intake??

2.)How do you keep your engine so clean?

3.) The valve covers are the things that say Mopar Magnum on them right?

1: The intake manifold is right below the throttle body. Looks like an after market one instead of the stock keg style intake. I'm guessing the intake is removed, per his signature stating he has an AEM CAI. You wouldn't be able to fully see the new valve covers in all of their glory with the intake bolted on.

2: I don't know how he keeps his engine so clean, but it's not entirely difficult. If your engine does get out of hand just spray it down with gunk and pressure wash it.

3: Yes those are valve covers.

Dang, those look awesome! It's also impressive how clean your engine is, did you clean it up just for that picture or do you always keep it that nice?

I wash my truck about 2 times a week at the bay wash places that have the high pressure guns.

I keep my bay clean all the time, beleive it or not its actually dirty right now.. alot of dirt and ****, i just replaced my waterpump so all my coolent hoses are new thats why they look clean, i cleaned my TB (about to have a new one coming in ill take pics of that to... it will be billet it will look nice.

My valve covers are the things that say Mopar on them,

My intake manifold is a 4bbl M-1 intake. Its not stock.

I got the gaskets, hardware and Valve covers for about 250$ at SocalDakotas.com (Sam) good guy to work with i had a little problem the first time around and i got kinda pissed off, but he took care of me.
