AC Problem

Default AC Problem

Having a problem with my AC. Will blow cold air fine for about 15-20 min, blows hot. Turn it off for a while and same thin hapens, cold then hot. Have had charge checked with RobinAIR machine, charge is ok. Replaced both High and Low switches but was no help
Any Ideas?

Have you looked for a leak in your system? Is your system staying charged?

my guess is a leak..u should jusditch ur A/C. it robs power anyways and besides, if u need to cool off, thats wat th windows r for =)

if it were a leak it would not run for 15 min... it would mabie go for a min or two

Pressure switches are new. Holds charge fine

hmm is it full of liquid instead of gas, purge the system...

Replace the orifice tube in the liquid line (about 4 bucks). You should also replace the accumulator/drier/filter anytime you open up the system.
