Default Aftermarket brake options??

Need some new pads and rotors front and back for my 2004 QC 4X4 4.7L. I don't want to put original Mopar on it I want some better performance and life. What brand and sizes should I be looking at for these needs?? Thanks

umm better life, i doubt ull get that, my dads 03 QC went 55000 on the origional brakes from the dealer, granted we replaced them with (i think) raybestos, but im not 100% on the brand

The only type of brake pad I will use on my passenger vehicles are the Federal-Mogul Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. They're a bit pricey, but they are the best pad I have come across...in my opinion, which is worth about $0.02.

as far as performance you could go for the power slot/brembo slotted or drilled and slotted rotors and hawk pads but the life goes down with a slotted rotor

Ok, I dont have that big of concern about performance. I do not want a slotted rotor, I should have been more specific. I want a standard set of rotors and pads for the front and back, I just dont want to replace with mopar. Theres gotta be something out there that will give better life and brake response, something that would be the same cost as Mopar from the dealer but offers better performance and life. What are my options?? Thanks

Go for ceramic pads. You get a lot less brake dust, better stopping power, and a long life pad. As forrotors I dunno I haven't had to replace mine yet

Try www.frozenrotors.com
I have these on my BMW and have been worth every penny. No brake fade under heavy braking. Will be putting these on my Dakota soon.
