How much more power do those things give you? Also how much do they cost? I was looking into getting one, just never went through with it.

I have a 2001 4x4 with the 4.7. I installed the superchips and except when towing, I really don't feel much of a difference. The tranny shifts much harder, which is much better than the mushy stock shifting. I do have problems with detonation in the performance setting. I tried many different brands of gas, I have the coldest range spark plugs I could find and the only way to avoid it is to use some sort of octane booster. My next move will be to try a colder thermostat.
Anyone with similar problems?
