Default Superchips

I have a 2001 dakota 4x4 awd and just bought a superchip for my truck. I wasnt sure on what the results of the chip were going to be. Once i installed it, i felt the power instantly. My gas milage went up 2-3 miles per gallon in the performance mode.

Overall the chip is great and If anyone has a stock dakota and wants to spice it up a little bit.

get a superchip!

-Peter

nevermind on the fan spinning faster post, but when you run your chip on the performance 1 setting, your putting 91 in your tank right. I had it on the econ 89 setting cause i didnt want to pay for 91, but i just filled up with 91 and switched to the performance 1 setting.. wow what a difference

i was also thinking about a programmer and i have a 5 speed as well and im pretty sure that they work with them. you just dont get to use the firmer shift points and what not but the reprograming of the engine would still work and give you results.
