I just changed the front rotors and pads on my 04 4x4. Now I have a small vibration in the wheel when I am doing 60+. Do I just need to get the wheels re-balanced and aligned or did I slip up somewhere in the rotor install?
make sure you didn't overtighten your studs. their only supposed to be something like 150lbs. most people don't know that and tighten their **** down way to tight.
well I am starting to think it is out of alignment. It ever so slightly pulls to the right, so I took it into the shop this morning for the alignment and tire rotation. Hopefully this will fix the problem, if not I will have a cuss fit and take the rotors back off and return them. I don't think I over tightened the lugs. I hand tightened them and then gave them 1/8 turn with a breaker bar in a 6 point star pattern.
Well I got it back from the dealership after getting the wheels rotated and front end aligned. She drives straight as an arrow, but now the vibration is in the *** of the truck must be off balanced or worn tires or something. Or maybe I am just being to damn picky.
