These are really common things that for the most part are in the owners manual and it's not hard to read (it's almost like a "Amost everything you need to know about your truck for dummies" book) Oil types will differ dependingon your location. Also a k&n part number... are you talking oil filter or air filter. And yeah the engine size is crucial. Also what brand of stuff do you want to go with, different brands use different "Unique" part numbers.Oh by the way, I've heard a lot about those bosh platinum plugs!! lol maybe this would be a good time to use the search function. https://dodgeforum.com/search.asp

Lil- Thanks for the link. I thought your link was where to buy the book, not download it. And when you said "I upped it for you", I took that as you were upping my thread so others would see it and maybe post a response. I'm downloading the PDF now. Thanks again.

4x4kota - You're right, most common stuff is in the owners manual except for the info I needed refering to the trans, xcase, and diffs. I pretend your comment about a book for dummies wasn't aimed at me.
I should have been more specific about not wanting to use OEM parts. As far as fluids are concerned, Redline, Royal Purple, or AMSOIL would be ideal.

aakrusen....glad to help as someone gave that book to me on here and even though I have a 2004 that book is good for the whole Gen2 line it has from the 4cyl, V6 and all the V8's and trannies too.....it has been most helpful for me over time even if it does not have what you are looking for to do your tune up but you I am sure you will use it someday......enjoy and good luck on the tune up.....I am interested in the information people give you on this one too......I would not mind getting dirty to save some money and learn how to do a few more things on my truck......take care.

Just did the complete top end TBI clean this weekend (IAC, TPS, TBI, seals, etc.) and really helped my 4.7L V8 get rid of stalling, rough running in neutral/pk (ran well in drive).
Folks like us cannot thank you enough for the manual. Combine this with info. from other knowledgible posts/posters, and things went reall smooth! It's great to be fully informed/educated before tackling things like this........hope we can help you some day !!
