Default Engine Roars Loss Of Power ? Help

2000 Dakota 4.7 L
My engine started making a roaring noise . Gas mileage has dropped and I have a loss of power
Truck will accelerate and get up to speed it is just slow and loud.
Any ideas

Manifold Gasket gone? Also Check your head gasket coolant in oil vise versa.

maybe the clutch in your cooling fan is stuck?

check the exhaust manifold possibly a hole in it.

Do the pipe test hold it up until you pin point the location, my guess is manifold somewhere.

x3 on the fan clutch

after about 1 minute of driving the fan clutch should disengage.....after driving for a short distance, pop the hood and see if the mechanical fan (not electric) is still spinning.....it shouldnt be

yea i 4th or 5th the cooling fan.. but look at the brightside, sounds like a diesel when your hauling down the road... haha
